The Uni-Dust powder recovery cyclone offers a significant step forward in the problem of dust containment during powder processing.
The space-conscious cyclone, situated in the process room, is connected to either a capsule filling machine or a tablet compression machine. The Uni-Dust cyclone is placed between the machine and the dust extraction point; the cyclone then separtes solids from the air. This ensures only clean air passes to the central dust extraction system, with the contaiminated product captured in a catch-pot attached to the cyclone.
This ensures best-practice through high-level compliance with FDA guidelines as batch losses can easily be reconciled.
